India- Day 1

Our first day was centered around family. Although most of the Chatterjee family resides in Calcutta, my father in law has a house in Delhi, which is were we spent the majority of our time. I experienced my first traditional Indian home in visiting my husband's great aunt's home that she shares with her husband and son. Also visiting was another great aunt and her daughter, from the another side of the family. The food was great of course but I mostly enjoyed seeing the interactions of the various family members. The following pictures include a group shot, but also pictures we took on the way. I was amazed at the traffic jam that seems to be never ending and the complete mayhem that is driving in India. Yes, that is two adults and TWO TODDLERS on that motorcycle in the picture. Traffic laws and enforcement are non existant as we know them...The third picture was just a passing shot.
