DETOX

I will start this by admitting that I blog-lifted this idea from a dear friend. If you are interested in his comments, visit Pip's Paradigm (link under my favorites)!

**********************************************************************************

Watch less TV: I do not have cable. Currently watching one series on DVD and may watch one movie a week. I think I'm doing well here!

Limit your online activity: NOT! Sorry, cant' do it. But I have drastically decreased the time I spend on social networks. It's getting to be too much work and that's not fun!

Stop gossiping: Whatever. Did you hear about that girl......

Use non-toxic cleaners: Non toxic? I have been diligently making the switch to all natural. Does that count?

Quit smoking: Don't, never did. Find it repulsing. Just calling it like I see it.

Exercise: BAHHHHH. Working on it.

Sleep better and longer: I get between 7-8 hours most nights. Never seems to be enough. That would probably be where the "better" comes in....

Introduce organic produce into your diet: Have you seen the prices of this stuff lately???? On the other side... my husband has helped me greatly in reducing the amount of boxed food I eat. No more hamburger helper or mac and cheese. Trying to cut back on processed and preservative filled foods. So that's a step in the right direction.

Limit the number of pills you pop each day: I'm torn on this. Do vitamins count against me here? Outside of those, I have 3. Antimalarial for my lupus. Anitbaby meds (until the time is right, if ever) and a baby aspirin- also lupus related. 3. Unless, we revisit the vitamins.... oh wait 4. Claritin.... Do you live in TEXAS? Then don't judge. This place is one big allergen...

Breathe deeply: Totally got me here. My husband constantly says, BREATHE! I tend to hold my breathe... when stressed, when typing, when concentrating... basically all the time.

I think I failed this one.....

-----OH and it is repulsive. To think that I did for a year. Now the smoke stacks stand next to me and I want to gag. (that and secretly want to take a drag but know that I cannot)

-----JEALOUS!
